Question

Why are the eucalyptus trees grow near or along the sewage ?

Open in App
Solution

Eucalyptus trees are grown near sewage ponds as they can grow incontaminated soils and soil containing high amount of salt and organic matter. Also, they absorb the metals, organic matter, nutrients and water from the sewage.

Also eucalyptus trees are grown all over because these absorb harmful substances and release pure water vapour in the atmosphere.
