Solution
Heart:
The heart is a body organ that provides oxygenated blood to all body parts.
The heart pumps blood which is supplied to all parts of the body.
It is a muscular organ that is the size of a fist.
The heart is divided into four chambers- upper two and lower two.
The upper chamber atrium receives incoming blood, whereas the lower chambers ventricle pumps the blood out of the heart.
The walls of the left ventricle are thicker than the right ventricle:
The ventricle pumps blood out of the heart.
The left ventricle is thicker than the right ventricle because the left ventricle has to pump blood into vessels. The vessels carry the blood to the whole body.
The blood is only supplied to the lungs from the right ventricle. Therefore, it does not need thicker walls.
