Solution

Dear Student,

The external ear and the tip of the nose are able to bend because they are made up of cartilage tissue (elastic cartilage). Cartilage is a type of connective tissue that contains chondrocytes responsible for the secretion of collagen and proteoglycans. It is very strong and flexible tissue.
