Solution

Each point: 1 Mark

1. When we are in dark, pupil size is bigger so as to facilitate enough amount of light to enter our eye. As we come out of dark room, size of the pupil needs to be smaller to allow appropriate amount of light to enter our eye.
2. Since it takes some time to readjust pupil size until then large amonut of light enters the eye and we are unable to see as we are partially blinded by the sudden glaze that our eys feel.
3. Optic nerve carries the image formed on the retina to the brain in the form of electrical signals to interpret.
