Why bacteria and fungi lack nucleus and plant doesn't as though both are plants ?

Bacteria comes under kingdom Monera & is not considered a plant. They lack nucleus a well defined as they are quite primitive in nature.
Fungi is classified under kingdom Fungi & is not considered a plant. They contain a well defined nucleus.
Plants are classified under kingdom Plantae & does not contain bacteria & fungi. Plants also contain a well defined nucleus.
