2. Forms packing around various body organs so called as packing tissue.
3. It is mesodermal in origin.
4. It has all the three components of a connective tissue i.e. cells, fibers and matrix.
5. A fibroblast is the most important cell of connective tissues which is present in blood.

The color of blood is related to Hemoglobin, containing iron, is red and is found in all vertebrates (animals having a backbone) and a few invertebrates (animals lacking a backbone).
