• For example- Conversion of milk to curd, Rusting, boiling egg etc.

Boiling egg is a chemical change because of following reasons-

• When you cook an egg, the proteins gather energy and physically shake away the connections that hold the amino-acid strings together.
• This enables the proteins to unfurl.
• Proteins obtain enough energy as the temperature rises to establish new, stronger covalent bonds with other protein molecules.

Hence, boiling of egg is a chemical change.
