Solution
Dear
user
,
Bond
order
:
Bond
order
is
the
no
of
bonds
between
a
pair
of
electrons
of
two
participating
atoms
.
Bond
length
:
It
is
the
average
distance
between
the
nuclei
of
the
two
bonded
atoms
.
Now
,
Bond
order
is
inversely
proportional
to
bond
length
because
when
more
no
of
atoms
take
place
in
bond
formation
,
the
bond
gets
shorter
because
the
force
of
attraction
between
the
atoms
of
a
molecule
increases
,
due
to
which
atoms
come
closer
to
each
other
and
as
result
,
the
bond
length
decreases
.
