Why can't we dispose off the nuclear waste on moon

Firstly it will be very costly and I dont think any advanced country with an intelligent president would spend billions and billions just to send some scrap metals and radioactive wastes to space.

Secondly, its a very inhumane thing to contaminate space just like we have contaminated our planet. Also, international laws do not permit that.

Thirdly, it would remain as a barrier to future space exploration as debris.
