Why can't you use laboratory thermometer to measure the temperature of your body ? How does a clinical thermometer solve this problem?

1) WHY A LABORATORY THERMOMETER IS NOT SUITABLE FOR MEASURING HUMAN BODY TEMPERATURE?-
A thermometer used to measure body temperature should be extremely accurate over an extremely small range of temperatures. It must give the temperature to the tenth of a degree. But A laboratory thermometer does not have the partial degree separations but gives the temperature over a much wider range of temperatures. hence we don't use it
