Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

Assuming CH3O2H as CH3CO2H

CH3COOH is the structural formula of acetic acid. You can write acetic acid as CH3CO2H also but since it is an acid, and the acid has functional group as -COOH therefore, it s better to represent it as CH3COOH.
