Question

Why circle is not considered a polygon if it can be formed by many tiny straight lines?

Open in App
Solution

a round plane figure whose boundary (the circumference) consists of points equidistant from a fixed point (the centre).
From the definition it is clear that circle consists of points and not lines. And also all the points must be equidistant from a single point. If you draw lines this condition will not be satisfied.
You will not get a perfect circle by drawing tiny lines.
