Question

why CO does NO not possess zero entropy at absolute 0

Open in App
Solution

Dear User,
The molecules that have perfectly ordered arrangements of their constituent particles show zero entropy at absolute 0. However, CO and NO do not have order arrangement of their particles and therefore do not have zero entropy at 0 K.
