Question

Why coalition government is not a stable government

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

A coalition government is a type of government in which multiple political parties cooperate, reducing the dominance of any one party within that "coalition". The reason for which coalition government is formed is because no party on its own can achieve a majority in the parliament.
It's not a stable government because if one party take there support back than the existing government will fail and in this case, elections will be held again.
