why complete angle is taken of 360 degree and not 400 or 100 degree ?

360 was the number of days that the ancients counted as one year. And, if the number of degrees in a full circle is 360, then 1/60 of a degree at the center of the Earth subtends (by definition) one Nautical Mile on the surface of the Earth.
