Question

Why conductors are materials which easily allow electricity to flow to them?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
Conductors are the materials which easily allow electricity to flow through them because in a conductor the outermost electrons of the atom are very loosely bound and they often get detached from their atoms when an electric charge is applied, and become free. hence they are called free electrons. Conductors have a very large amount of free electrons, and electricity flows due to the movement of these free electrons.
Regards.
