Open in App
Solution

Coniferous forests have needle types of leaves because such forests are found in cold regions and such leaves do not shed easily and capture sunlight for the entire year. It can survive ice and snow and are tough for the insects who cannot eat them easily. Water and snow easily fall from the leaves and does not allow it break.
