Solution

The correct option is C To understand how he was helping Dara Shikoh.
Aurangzeb defeated his brother Dara Shikoh at the Battle of Samugarh in 1658. Dara Shikoh fled to Punjab where he met Guru Har Rai Ji. Guruji realised Dara was a liberal Muslim and blessed him. Aurangzeb had learned of this coalition but was not sure if Guruji was helping Dara to regain the throne. So, Aurangzeb summoned Guru Har Rai Ji to his court.
