Solution

During the Civil Disobedience Movement, Indian leaders were arrested and a demonstration was held by angry mob in Peshawar. They faced police firing and armoured cars. Many were killed. When a month later Gandhiji was arrested, it led to violent clashes at many places. Industrial workers attacked police posts, railway stations, law courts and all buildings which symbolised British rule.
