The Justice Party in Madras did not join the non- cooperation movement because of its anti-Brahmin attitude. They assumed Gandhiji favoured Brahiminism and since this party professed to represents all non-Brahmins, they did not join the movement.
The Justice Party was also against Annie Besant and Home Rule since according to them, Brahmins dominated the Congress.
