Question

Why different people have different blood group?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

Different people have different blood group because there are 3 different alleles of blood groups i., A, B and O. During fusion of phenotypes one allele comes from each parent. Depending on allele that comes from parents, the blood group of the offsprings is decided. That's why different people have different blood groups. In humans there are four different types of blood groups i.e., A, B, AB and O.

Regards.
