Why do different regions have different types of climate?

There are many reasons for different regions having different types of climates.
Few of them are:
1. The geographical position of regions: Latitude affects climate as it is related to the intensity of sunlight received by the area.
Regions of different altitude also have different weather.
2. Types of landscape, whether there is water in the area; presence of valleys, mountains, forest or desert also have impact on climate changes.
3. Airflow is another reason for the climate change as it has direct affect on rain.
4. Ocean currents, elevation, and distance from sea also affect the change in climate.
