Solution

When the person consumes alcohol, the cells of the brain are affected as the alcohol can pass through the blood-brain barrier. The motor cortex region in the cerebrum and the cerebellum is responsible for the control and regulation of the activity of the body. The neurons of this region are affected which may cause an imbalance in the bone and the muscular movements. There may be effect on the orientation and equilibrium of the body which results in the accidents during driving after drinking.
