Why do every living thing die?

Some day if we can have such developments in science to avoid failures of our organs on account of ageing and ensure our bodies functioned well almost till eternity. Then probably, we would not die natural deaths but would be killed by others fighting for the limited resources.

Nature strikes a balance. And death is a tool of nature to strike, this important balance.
