Solution

  • Organisms having internal fertilization, like a hen, produce one egg at a time. This is so because here there is less chance of failure of fusion between male and female gamete.
  • In the case of frog-like aquatic organisms who shows the external mode of reproduction has to lay an egg in a hundred. The first reason behind this is the single egg is so small in size that it will not be possible to stay to definite position and which in turns make hard for sperm to found and fuse them.
  • Another reason behind this is there is a lot of organisms who feed on these eggs, so larger number of eggs gives more possibility of giving birth to young ones
Lie cycle of frog:
  • Metamorphosis is the change of shape during an animal’s life.
  • During metamorphosis the tadpole will develop back legs first, then front legs.
  • Around 6 weeks of life the mouth starts to widen.
  • Sometime around 10 weeks the froglet’s, as it is now called, eyes start to bulge out and the tail begins to shrink and eventually disappear.
  • When the lungs finish developing the final form of the frog is developed.
