Why do gases always tend to be less soluble in liquids as the temperature is raised?

Solution
Dissolution of gas in a liquid is an exothermic process and heat is evolved during dissolution.
Gas + Liquid ⇌ Solution + Heat
With an increase in temperature, heat is supplied which shifts the equilibrium in the backward direction. Hence, gases always tend to be less soluble in liquids as the temperature is raised.
