Compounds obeys the law of constant proportions since they are composed of elements combined together in fixed proportion by mass. however mixture and compounds are also made up of two or more elements but they are not in fixed proportion and elements themselves are the particles that cannot be broken down into more simpler particles

Hence Mixture doesnt follow
