Open in App
Solution

Yes, it was found in studies that plants do respond to the music whether it is classical music or some other form of music. The concept of how music affect the growth of plant was described as they respond to the music as same as the humans do. As sound is transmitted in the form of wave that required a medium such as air to travel these waves causes the particles to vibrate. This vibration will be picked up by the plants as they can feel the vibration of the sound waves. It was further studied and proved that the vibration picked up by plants will speed up the protoplasmic movement in the cells of the plants, this stimulation affect the performance of the plants such as manufacturing of more nutrients that would make plant grow faster and hence the plants grow rapidly as compare to their usual growth.
