Solution

Dear student,
Terrestrial plants have developed vascular system for transportation of food and water throughout the plant body. Terrestrial plants are the most evolved plants. Vascularization is the way for terrestrial plants to survive on land. Food synthesised in the leaves through photosynthesis by sunlight needs to be transferred downward to all the cells for oxidation of food and generation of energy. Water is taken through roots requires to be transported to every cell which is made possible through xylem vessel. Vascularization is the evolution of plants for better survival on land.
