3. Tribal people are dependant on the forests for various products that are essential for the sustenance of their lives.
4. These products include timber, medicinal plants, fibres for making clothes, fodder for cattle, various fruits and vegetables for nutrition.
5. In return, they protect the forests they live in and tend to the plants and trees and animals that cohabit the area along with them.
