Open in App
Solution

Trucks have many tyres because to have large area of contact and less pressure on the ground. Because of this, trucks can move even on soft roads and off road without sinking.

Since, trucks carry heavy load it require more tyres in order to increase area of contact and to decrease pressure on the ground.
