Whenever a fan is switched on we feel cool because of the following reasons-
When the fan is switched on, air blows fast in that area.
As we know due to convection and evaporation, our bodies lose heat at a faster rate when the air is flowing quickly.
The warmer air in direct touch with our skin is displaced by the faster-moving air from the fan.
As a result, the rate of convective heat transmission is increased, and we feel cooler.
