Question

Why do we get viral cold again and again?

Open in App
Solution

Viral diseases mutate quickly, and hence go unidentified by our White Blood Cells and the immune system. Hence, if it cannot be detected as what we previously fell ill by, than we cannot treat it accordingly, and we will get sick in order to produce the antibodies.
So, it is because of slight changes in virus, that we get viral cold again and again.
