Why do we need to classify drugs in different ways ?

If we will not classify the drugs in different ways how can we know that which drugs should we take in diseases and due to take wrong medicine we can suffer by poisonous therefore we need to classify the drugs in different ways

Different types of classification to drugs is beneficial for the people related to different fields. e.g., knowing pharmacological effect makes it easy for doctors. It also makes the correct medicine available to the patient as first aid. As antacid can be used in case of excessive acidity in the stomach.

In the same way, other types of classification help the scientists, drug manufacturers, students, chemists etc.
