Question

Why do we say a line has one dimensional? If we drag the line segment point to another direction it will be one dimensional or what?

Solution

Line, as you might know, is the collection of points arranged in a particular manner one after the other. That is a straight line is formed only when a number of points are placed one after the other in a particular direction. So naturally, there is an involvement of directionality in it.

When we draw this line another direction, then also it is one dimensional
