1. A magnet is a material that produces a magnetic field and attracts or repels the magnet or other moving charged particle.
2. Magnet has two poles i.e North and South.
3. If we bring two unlike poles towards each other then there is an attractive force between the magnet.
4. If we bring two like poles towards each other then there is a repulsive force between the magnet.
5. After the repulsion test is confirmed then we can be sure about the magnet.

Hence, The surest test of magnetism is Repulsion.
