Why do we see water droplets on the outer surface of the container having ice cold water in it?

We can see water droplets on the outer surface of the container having ice cold water in it because,

• When water vapour present in air comes in contact with the glass of cold water.
• It loses its energy and gets converted to a liquid state i.e gets condensed due to which water droplets can be seen.
• This phenomenon is called condensation
