Question

Why do We Use Electromagnetic Spectrum

Open in App
Solution

Electromagnetic spectrum:

  1. The electromagnetic spectrum is the collection of all electromagnetic radiations in the universe.
  2. It is the basis on which the universe works, without it we won't be able to see outer space stuff.
  3. The spectrum ranges from high wavelength radio waves to low wavelength gamma radiations.
  4. Astrophysicists interpret information about stars, quasars, black holes, etc., using the EM waves they detect from space.
  5. The lower frequency range of the EM spectrum is used in communication systems and broadcasting.
  6. X-Rays are used for medical purposes.
  7. They are used in radar systems for aircraft communication.
  8. Microwaves are used in heating ovens.

Hence for this reason we use electromagnetic spectrums.
