Why do you think that our National movement supported the idea that all adults must have a right to vote?

During struggle of Independence, the national leaders supported the idea that all adults have a right to vote so that every adult can contribute or participate in the mass movements.

To ensure larger participation and upholding the spirit of democracy, It was decided that universal adult franchise should be guaranteed irrespective of any classification or social variation.
