Why do you think oxygen is taken up by RBC in the blood easily and co2 given out

Dear student,
RBC consist of hemoglobin with iron in the centre, oxygen and carbon dioxide has affinity for the hemoglobin. RBC do not contain any organelle and the space is filled with hemoglobin therefore oxygen and carbon dioxide binds with the hemoglobin of RBC easily.
