Question

Why does a balloon go up when we leave it at a certain height but an apple dropped at the same height comes down? What is the force of gravity on these objects?

Because of buoyant force, the balloon has the large volume, there is more buoyant force acting on it but the apple has less volume as well as its overall density is quite more than of balloon so its buoyant force cannot overcome its weight.
