Question

Why does an alternating current not show any magnetic effect?,

Open in App
Solution

AC means Alternating current, it goes from 0 to maximum in positive direction and then comes back to 0 then its polarity changes and it goes from 0 to max. by this, the average current in the circuit becomes zero..as there is no current, no magnetic effect will be there
