Enzyme :

  1. Enzymes are catalysts that assist with accelerating chemical responses in our bodies.
  2. An enzyme denatures due to the unfolding of its secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structures of its enzyme model.
  3. It occurs due to high temperature and extreme pH.
  4. The shapes of its active site changes following which the substrate does not fit into the enzymes anymore.
  5. Subsequently, the rate of reaction is influenced causing it to either slow down or stop.
