Why does carbon usually bond with hydrogen and not fluorine ??

Hi,
Carbon forms bond with fluorine too. In fact, the C-F bond is one of the strongest single bonds to exist in organic compounds. We study mostly about hydrocarbon as they can undergo a variety of reaction and thus form a plethora of products.
