Question

why does current flows only through metals

Open in App
Solution

Dear student
Current flows through metals or conductors because they have a lot of free electrons which start to move when an electric field is applied where as non conductors though have a lot of electrons but they are tightly bound and are not free to move to conduct electricity.so they do not conduct.Regards
