Question

Why does De Levis strongly suspect Ronald Dancy of committing the theft?

Open in App
Solution

De Levis strongly suspects Ronald Dancy of theft because the distance from the railing of his balcony to that of Dancy's is just seven feet which anyone can jump if he can jump a book case that is just four feet high [earlier Dancy had bet De Levis that he could jump on to the book case from the floor], while standing on the floor. De Levis also finds a bit of brooken creeper lying in the balcony and the stem and inner corner of the creeper was crushed.
