Why does dispersion not occur in water? Is it because all the colors are scattered equally?

Open in App
Solution

dispersion and scattering are two different phenomenon, they can not be related to each other individually, and as far as dispersion is considered it can take place when light changes its medium but it can be very narrow which can not be viewed with naked eye, for our board preparation we can stick to the topics taught in class
