Question

Why does electric lines as well as magnetic line do not intersect ? And why magnetic field line do not form a closed loop

Open in App
Solution

If intersects, at that point electric or magnetic field has two directions. Which is impossible. Because field intensity is a vector, having one direction. So it is not possible.

Magnetic field lines are always forms closed lines. Because mono poles are not exist.
Whereas electric field lines are open lines. Because isolated charges are exist.

I hope it is clear to you
