why does it take long time for food to be cooked in a solar cooker rather than an oven?

The heat obtained by solar cooker is due to absorption of heat energy from sunlight. It takes time for the solar cooker to absorb energy and then it cooks food. Whereas, oven works by electricity. The heat is supplied quickly in oven and hence, food gets cooked easily.
