Why does it take sometime to see the objects in a dim room when we enter the room from bright sunlight outside.

Dear Student ,
When we enter a dim room,our pupil is smaller due to abundance of light .But in dim room we require more amount of light to see nearby objects and it takes sometime for the regulation of eye of pupil.So,it takes sometime to see objects in dim room.
